Your campaign reporting dashboard now shows the budget behind your spend. Two new metrics,
Budget
and Spend pace
, sit alongside spend in the Spend and efficiency
tab for Paid Search, Metasearch and Display Retargeting. Campaign and message performance also has a table of its own now, so channel results and campaign results can be read at the same time.---
❤️
Why It Matters
Spend on its own doesn't tell you whether a channel is on track. With the budget and the pace next to it, you can see at a glance whether a channel is running ahead of or behind plan, and act on it in the same place you're already reviewing performance.
---
👥
Who Can Access It
All users with subscription licences for marketing channels that carry an ad budget paid by the client (Paid Search, Metasearch and Display Retargeting).

How to Use It
- Open the campaign reporting dashboard and choose your period in the date picker.
- In the performance summary table, open the Spend and efficiencytab to see Budget and Spend pace by channel, property or day.
- Use the campaign and message table below it for campaign-level performance.
- Budget- the budget assigned to the channel for the selected reporting period. This is theperiodic budget -ie the total budget for the selected period - this is not the same as the monthly budget!
- Spend pace- the rate at which the channel budget has been spent across the selected period. This is calculated with respect to the periodic budget, so best way to view spend pace within the month is to select this month in the date picker.

Campaign and Message reporting is now found in a separate table in the Reporting Dashboard

❓
FAQs
- Which budget does the Budget metric show?
The budget for the period you have selected. To see budget and pace for a single month, select that month in the date picker.
- Do campaigns and messages show a budget?
No. Budgets are set at channel level, which is why campaign and message performance now has its own table alongside the channel view.
- Do I need to set anything up?
No. Both metrics are live in your dashboard now.
