What’s New?
Hoteliers can now see, set, and schedule their marketing budgets — by hotel, channel, and month — directly in the platform. The new Budgets page shows your current and future monthly budgets, lets you set future budgets, and tracks spend against them for Metasearch and Display Retargeting, all in one place. You also get a portfolio overview across every hotel in your account, plus a full history of budget changes.

A note about Triptease Labs releases:
The information in this release note is correct at the time of publication. Triptease Labs features are expected to change and improve at high speed so what you’re reading here may no longer be precisely correct. Activate and check out the feature to see its current capabilities.

Why It Matters
Budget changes now happen fast. You can plan ahead by scheduling future budgets in advance, so seasonal budget plans happen without anyone needing to remember to raise a request at the right moment. You also get always-on visibility of spend and pacing against budget, by hotel, channel, and month — and if you manage multiple properties, you can see and manage your whole portfolio from one screen.
---
Who Can Access It?
Available now to clients opted in to Triptease Labs.
---
How Does It Work?
Once you've opted in to Triptease Labs, Budgets appears in your main platform navigation.
  • Portfolio view
    — see your total annual budget, year-to-date spend and pacing, and the channel split across every hotel in your account, with a sortable per-hotel table.
  • Hotel view
    — see monthly budgets, spend, and pacing for each channel, including a sub-channel breakdown (e.g. Google Hotel Ads vs secondary metas).
  • Edit a budget
    — update the current month's budget directly, inline.
  • Schedule a change
    — pick a future month and set a new monthly budget that applies from that month onwards.
  • Change history
    — see a log of every budget change, per hotel and channel.
  • Track pacing
    — see how your spend compares to budget each month (e.g. "109% of budget").
What’s Included?
Metasearch and Display Retargeting budgets, per hotel, across your portfolio. All budgets are set and displayed in USD. (Paid Search and Paid Social are coming soon.)
Are There Any Limitations?
At initial release the following limitations apply, but note that Labs features are expected to change fast, so this information may not be accurate for long:
Paid Search and Paid Social budgets aren't supported. You can only set budgets for the remainder of the current year; support for future years (e.g. 2027) is coming soon. All budgets are in USD only, regardless of your hotel's local currency.
How Do I Get Access?
Opt in via the Labs page in the Triptease Data Marketing Platform (found in the main navigation bar).
What’s Coming Next?
Paid Search budgets are coming soon, followed by Paid Social. Support for setting budgets in future years (e.g. 2027) is also on the way.
