Add support to grant different users different access and permission levels

Currently, the Triptease platform allows two levels of permissions, however, the differences in functionality are not clear and don't represent the different needs of my colleagues. For example, in Messages, I do not want all my users to be able to create and publish Messages, but I do want some to be able to view performance data. Similarly, users at different hotels should have different permissions to limit the hotel data they can see.

We understand that the hotel businesses we work with vary greatly when it comes to size, number of employees, and the types of roles who are engaging with the Triptease platform. While some organizations may want to make all platform functionalities available to everyone using our products, there are a variety of use cases where it may make more sense to grant different users different permission levels. However, these requirements can vary significantly from one organization to another, so we need to evaluate how to split these permissions out in a way that makes the most sense for all of our customers.
We are currently exploring ways in which we could improve the user permissions capabilities in our Platform. At this stage we are looking to speak with customers who would like to be able to assign permissions to users in their team. If you'd be happy to share your feedback with us on a call, please reply to this comment or reach out to your Triptease contact. Thank you!

Many thanks for sharing your suggestion. We can understand why this is important for some businesses where there's sensitivity around access rights etc. For many in our customer base, we've found they are happy to trust their employees and make it clear how they should or shouldn't be using the tool, and so building internal policies into the actual platform itself is less necessary. These policies also differ considerably between organisations and so building something generic that works for everyone and captures all unique needs is more complicated than it first seems. So to date, we have prioritised features and functionality that have a bigger impact on direct bookings and we haven't been able to justify working on this at the expense of that.
That said, we will leave this ticket open and continue to monitor feedback from the community on this.

Yes, we need this - this is critical for our team to be able to draft messages but not publish.

This is a great suggestion, and not only supported but needed within our organization.

For groups, users with access to one hotel cannot see and edit messages of other hotels in the group.

ability to restrict access to view data/parity information only for hotels selected as well (both user & admin). Remove ability for Admin to give themselves access to other properties
